FEO to launch Hillhaven on 20 Jan; Prices start at $1907psf.

Far East Organization’s joint venture partner Sekisui House and Far East Organization will offer Hillhaven for sale in the Hillview district of District 23 on January 20. Over 2,000 visitors visited the sales gallery in its first preview weekend, from Jan 5-7.

Hillhaven, located at 5 Hillview Rise occupies a land area of 111 945 sq ft. The two towers are 27 and 28, respectively, with a north-south orientation. The 99-year Leasehold Project is expected receive its temporary occupancy permit by 3Q2027.

Five types of residences are available: two-bedroom units from 678 to 721 sq ft; two-bedroom-plus-study units of 797 sq ft; three-bedroom units from 947 to 1,141 sq ft; three-bedroom-plus-study units from 958 to 1,195 sq ft; and four-bedroom units from 1,259 to 1,636 sq ft.

Double-volume ceilings will be installed in the dining and living areas of some three- or four-bedroom units.

In a Jan 10 press release, Far East Organization says early-bird prices for the units start from $1,907 psf, with a 678 sq ft, two-bedroom-with-two-bathroom unit starting from $1.37 million.

Hillhaven residents will be able to enjoy more than 30 facilities including a 50m-long pool, a pickleball field, an urban garden for residents, a dedicated cyclists’ corner and barbecue pavilions, each with a spa pool and play area.

Hillhaven offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, while still being close to shopping, dining and schooling options.

Hillview MRT Station, on the Downtown Line is just a four minute walk from the project. Hillview Community Club is also located nearby, as are malls such as The Rail Mall West Mall Hillion Mall, Junction 10.. Bukittimah Nature Reserve and Dairy Farm Nature Park as well as Bukitbatok Nature Park is also within walking range.

Hillhaven is home to a number of educational institutions, including CHIJ Our Lady Queen of Peace, Raffles Girls’ Primary School Raffles Girls’ School, National Junior College and St Francis Methodist School.

Lim notes that median prices for District 23 have risen 44.8% in the period between 2019 and 2023. He believes Hillhaven is an appealing prospect for buyers. Hillhaven capitalizes on its track record by offering immediate accessibility and connectivity.

Far East Organization knows the Hillview area well, having constructed developments such as Hillvista, Lanai Hillier HillV2 and HillV2.

The fact that there are no more private homes available in Hillview highlights its exclusivity and uniqueness as a residential area.”

Hillhaven received a lot of interest from potential buyers. This was boosted by its close proximity to Hillview MRT Station.

In 2023, the projects which are close to MRT stations (less that five minutes walking) have been well received and enjoyed high take-up rates despite the cautious buying mood during the past year.

Its proximity to the Jurong Innovation Districts and Lake Districts will also benefit this project. Tengah Township, which is slated to have more than 30,000 homes for public use, will be a major secondary market for Hillhaven.

Hillhaven’s goal is to obtain BCA’s Green Mark Platinum super low energy rating. To do this, the building will include green features like energy-efficient air conditioning systems and solar panels.
